A Mother's Love Knows No Boundaries Even During a Divorce
There's never been a better method devised to test your parenting skills than that of divorce. It's important to dig deep inside yourself and put aside your own problems in hopes of helping your children deal with the divorce too. You should have faith in yourself. Most mothers will go through anything in hopes of protecting their child. A popular adage found on Facebook says:
* Even when they aren't with her, mothers think about their children.
* A mother's love is more than anything you can imagine.
* Even when no one else is there, a mother will be there for her kids.
* A mother could take a bullet, catch a grenade, or even stand in front of a moving train for her child.
This means that it's up to mothers to help their children deal with the effects of divorce. You will need to resign yourself to the fact that you and your ex will always share a bond because you have children together. Your children undoubtedly still love their daddy, and it will do them no good if you insist on running him down in their presence. You should also avoid undermining him. You should always do what's in the best interests for your children.
You are the primary role model in your child's life, so you need to act as such 24/7. Instead of harping on any and every mistake the father makes, try to remain calm. There are usually ways you can work around even the most inconsiderate behavior, so always having a Plan B in the back of your mind in case your less-than-responsible ex doesn't live up to his side of the bargain.
Of course, you may be among the fortunate women who deal with an ex that is as cooperative and responsible as you are. He'll probably do little things to make your life better, so be thankful. Don't be too proud to apologize if you happen to lose your cool sometime. Just try to do what you can to make the relationship better since your children will benefit from it.
